On a recent visit to Rocky Mountain Biological Lab, which in the summer is a hive of activity by some of the most fabulous ecological researchers like Paul Ehrlich and John Harte, Mary Price, and Dan Blumstein (an EVTOL editor), I had the good fortune to run into one of my favorite environmental writers, Michelle Nijhuis.
