Lindsey is a creative and collaborative leader dedicated to advancing equitable change. She is an independent consultant with twenty years of experience across government, philanthropic, and nonprofit spaces. Lindsey excels at building grounded partnerships and designing and implementing impactful initiatives in complex environments. In her consulting practice, Lindsey helps leaders and organizations navigate critical challenges, equitably engage key communities, and improve their culture and performance. In addition, she teaches resource allocation methods at The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice.
Prior to consulting, Lindsey was a Director of Stewardship at The Rippel Foundation, where she led the design and implementation of FORESIGHT, a 3-year, national philanthropic partnership that used a futures-oriented process to create an equitable vision for health and well-being, and mobilized a innovative, cross-sector network around it. Lindsey also led health transformation work with place-based partnerships around the country and co-authored Beyond the Grant, a financing workbook used by national health leaders. Prior to joining Rippel, she led her own consulting practice which focused on designing and delivering impactful initiatives, was an analyst for the City of Minneapolis and a public sector advisor for a private consultancy. Lindsey has a Master’s in Public Policy from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs and a Bachelor of Arts from Iowa State University.
Lindsey is certified in Human Systems Dynamics, a discipline grounded in complexity theory that strengthens our ability to understand complex patterns and discern useful actions. She is an Advanced Practitioner in the Team Diagnostic Survey, a diagnostic assessment used to identify the strengths and weaknesses of teams and design effective team interventions.
