Jim Schlosser is a clinician leader dedicated to continually improving health and consciously evolving a community that works for all. His current focus is on evolving a community-wide commons to achieve functional zero homelessness in Concord, NH. He is a member of the boards of the Concord Coalition to End Homelessness and the Unitarian Universalist Church of Concord. Previously, Schlosser served as the Chief of Staff for the Manchester (NH) Veterans Administration (VA) Medical Center and the Director of the VISN Improvement Resource Office of the VA New England Healthcare System where he provided leadership for key strategic initiatives. He is board certified in internal medicine and is a New Hampshire Master Gardener.
Prior to his VA career, he served in various senior leadership positions in public hospitals, including Chief Medical Officer at the Cambridge (MA) Health Alliance, Deputy Medical Director at the Boston City Hospital and Chair of Adult Emergency Services at Cook County Hospital (Chicago). Schlosser served (1991-2001) as a founding board member of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement.
