Aaron Libman is the Executive Clinical/Program Director for PLEA, a non-profit mental health and education provider in Pittsburgh, PA. His main focal point is the School Based Partial Hospital Program, which provides both mental health and education services to children ages 5-22, most of whom carry a primary diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. In his role he oversees the education and behavioral health treatment of approximately 40 students in a specialized program that places an emphasis on behavior analytic interventions to promote adaptive functioning, language and communication development, and academic progress. He has received formal training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Relational Frame Theory (RFT), and Prosocial, which all inform the day-to-day treatment conversations at PLEA as well as broader organizational planning. Aaron received his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Denison University and his Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Pittsburgh. He currently is a Pennsylvania Licensed Behavior Specialist and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
